The Staff Development Forum was convened as a Leadership Foundation project, funded by LF for 2-3 years, as a precursor to an independent body to be launched at the 2006 Staff Developers’ Conference.

City and Guilds
City and Guilds is the UK's leading vocational awarding body, offering more than 500 qualifications. Web Link

NoWAL is a consortium of all the UK University and Colleges of Higher Education libraries in Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside. The consortium exists to enhance the delivery of services to users in a number of ways, including the design and delivery of staff training courses, a reciprocal access and borrowing policy and the consortial procurement of library materials. The UCAS Professional Development Team offers a range of training, development and consultancy opportunities to colleagues and interested parties involved in HE, FE and progression to HE. It is a dedicated team of full-time experienced professionals based at UCAS and forms part of the Policy and Communications Department.
